About PVFARM

PVFARM was founded to give developers, EPCs, engineering firms, and OEMs a decision intelligence layer that improves design for utility-scale solar and energy storage. Launched in 2024, PVFARM has been integrated into the workflows of more than half of the top U.S. utility-scale EPCs.

Vision

A renewable energy industry where every project decision is grounded in the full picture, from first layout through long-term performance.

Mission

Our mission is to build the decision intelligence layer for utility-scale solar, helping every project team align around shared assumptions, constraints, and trade-offs early enough to shape the project, not just react to it.

Trusted Partners

PVFARM is used by more than half of the top U.S. utility-scale EPCs in their workflows, and our partnerships continue to grow.

Organizations that work with PVFARM include EDF Power Solutions, OMCO Solar, Mission Clean Energy, Estuary Power, and Ulteig.

In a published PVFARM case study, NARENCO reported about a 50% shorter project timeline, a pricing turnaround cut from roughly five weeks to days, and an estimated 5x return on investment within six months. Customer outcomes vary by project and workflow.

You can churn out a DXF that has full wiring, piles, everything in an hour.
Which is not really possible with anything else.

EDF power solutions

The biggest advantage that we've seen is just being able to process topography and some layout creation on the tracker side.

Dave Wilson
OMCO Solar

The most impactful thing for us has been speeding up our decision-making. Being able to analyze land positions quickly is really helpful. We’re doing that assessment in a matter of hours instead of days or even weeks, which allows us to effectively target our land campaigns.

Austin Quig-Hartman
Mission Clean Energy

PVFARM is the first solar design tool I’ve found that allows for true customization and optimization within an easy-to-use interface that can handle large-scale projects without slowing down.

Carson Loosbrock
Estuary Power

PVFARM has allowed our team to streamline the layout design process for our clients. We rely on it daily to provide cost-effective, optimized solutions with the right balance of detail and efficiency.

Martin Padula
Ulteig

Throughout our partnership, PVFARM has shown a commitment to working hand-in-hand with us to solve complex design challenges through advanced solutions that balance performance, cost, schedule, constructability, and long-term project value.

Why We Built PVFARM

PVFARM was formed to close the gaps in renewable energy design that the industry had accepted as unavoidable: disconnected systems and incomplete information that lead to redesigns, delays, and avoidable costs.

Co-founders Ben Callam and Maksim Markevich gathered software experts, mathematicians, engineers, and designers around one belief: better outcomes start with better alignment.

Today, PVFARM’s three platforms — PVFARM, RE STACK, and RE PILOT — bring teams together through a shared language for evaluating trade-offs, linking layout, electrical, structural, civil, and financial considerations into one connected model for earlier visibility into every decision’s real implications.

FAQ

What is PVFARM?+

PVFARM is a decision intelligence platform for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) design. It integrates layout, electrical, structural, civil, and financial data into a single project model, enabling teams to evaluate trade-offs before detailed engineering.

Who founded PVFARM?+

PVFARM was co-founded by Ben Callam, Chief Product Officer, and Maksim Markevich, Chief Technology Officer. Brian Raboin is Chief Executive Officer.

What is the difference between PVFARM, RE PILOT, and RE STACK?+

RE PILOT optimizes utility-scale PV + BESS configurations before detailed engineering. PVFARM engineers the preferred concepts into buildable projects. RE STACK generates and compares feasible BESS layouts that can guide detailed engineering. All three share one connected project model.

Who uses PVFARM?+

Developers and IPPs, EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and equipment manufacturers. PVFARM is used by more than half of the top U.S. utility-scale EPCs as part of their workflow.
